Meet Kristin, owner of Bright Life Travel Company, travel advisor to hundreds of wonderful clients, and family gal.
I've always loved to travel, see new sites, and get an escape from everyday life. Insert a husband and 4 kids into the equation and things get a little bit chaotic. It can be a wild adventure to travel with a large family, let alone plan the travel. I found myself in the beginning of motherhood wanting to go and experience travel, but not knowing how exactly that looked with kids. I learned a lot along the way and in 2020 decided that I needed to do something with my love for travel planning for my own family. That little seed turned into a career and then into the launch of Bright Life Travel.

If you’re traveling to Mexico soon, the recent headlines may feel alarming. Understandably so. There are some scary things happening right now.
Here’s what we know from official sources.
Recent cartel-related violence has occurred in parts of Jalisco state, including the Puerto Vallarta area. That situation is real and understandably concerning.
However, travel advisories are issued by state, not for the entire country at once.
Cancun (Quintana Roo) and Los Cabos (Baja California Sur) both remain at a Level 2 advisory: Exercise Increased Caution. This level has been in place for some time and has not changed.
There is currently no “Do Not Travel” advisory for Cancun or Cabo.
Flights into Cancun (CUN) and Los Cabos (SJD) are operating normally, and there are no official travel restrictions impacting resort areas at this time.
There is a real situation unfolding in certain regions of Mexico. There is also a significant amount of misinformation circulating online. We are monitoring U.S. State Department updates, U.S. Embassy alerts, airline advisories, and direct supplier communication daily so our clients can make decisions based on verified information.
At the end of the day, your safety and comfort matter most. If you have travel booked and have questions, reach out. We’re watching this closely and will communicate immediately if anything changes that impacts our clients.
