I highly recommend utilizing Kristin to reduce the stress of planning a great vacation!

"Kristin is an excellent resource! She has helped us plan two vacations, one already taken and a cruise planned for June ‘24. Kristin took the uncertainty out of traveling to an unfamiliar area, first experience to an all-inclusive resort by providing expectations, suggestions for tipping staff, travel to and from the airport, and even a packing list for the area.

Kristin was the first travel advisor we have ever used, and was great in getting to know our budget, and expectations with accommodations, and found multiple options to match this and the dates we had available to travel. She took a lot of anxiety out of planning and kept us within budget!!"

she saved me more money than doing it myself

"I’ve booked two Disney vacations with Kristin and my experience was flawless both times. I had no idea I could use a travel agent to do the work for me (research, bookings, pricing) all for no extra price, plus she saved me more money than doing it myself! I thought for sure I could get a better deal doing the work and I was wrong. Both times I saved about $500 working with her. And she gave me great options to go off of. She’s so knowledgeable and responsive, I love working with her and will do it again in 2024!"

Holly, Disney trips

great at answering my millions of daily questions

"Kristin is amazing! She planned our first family Disneyland trip this fall and was so helpful. She made sure our hotel was booked and our Disney passes were taken care of. She was great at answering my millions of daily questions leading up to our trip and giving us options and her opinion on things to do at Disneyland as well as Disney's California Adventure. Her suggestions on things like restaurants, attractions, and even grocery delivery to our hotel was so helpful! We will definitely utilize Kristen's services in the future for our family travel needs! She was so great to work with!"

Lexa, Disneyland

We couldn't have asked for a better experience

"We used Kristin for a family Disney Cruise that included over 25 family members ranging from 65 to 2 years old. It was our first cruise. Her knowledge of Disney's approach was phenomenal and she helped us find the correct rooms, connected to each other, as well as all the other arrangements. We changed the dates on her several times, due to family conflicts that arose, and she handled all the changes quickly and effectively. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Several of the family members commented that it was the best vacation we have done."

If you want to maximize your PTO in 2026, this is your sign to start planning now.

By pairing paid time off with U.S. federal holidays, you can turn a few PTO days into longer vacations throughout the year. Strategic travel planning around holidays like MLK Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas can unlock 9 to 17 consecutive days off, depending on your schedule.

This kind of PTO strategy works especially well for:
• Families planning school-break travel
• Couples trying to stretch limited vacation time
• Professionals who want fewer, longer trips instead of lots of short weekends

The key is knowing which weeks make the most sense for travel, which destinations actually work well during holiday periods, and when booking early really matters.

Save this post if you are thinking about 2026 travel, and if you want help choosing destinations that match these PTO windows, that is exactly what we do.

Thoughts as I was taking down Christmas decor yesterday…

I love Christmas. Truly. The music, the traditions, the magic, all of it.

And still, every year, I’m surprised by how peaceful & exciting it feels to pack it away and make room for what’s next. A fresh start, a clean slate!

I’ve noticed this same feeling show up in so many parts of life.
With motherhood. With work. With seasons that were good and meaningful and exactly what I needed at the time.

I loved my kids as babies. I still soak up Cal being four.
And I also love joking with Hudson at 13, watching Jude and Emory grow into themselves, and seeing who they’re becoming. I wouldn’t turn the clock back - not because those seasons weren’t beautiful and I do miss things about them, but because this one is, too.

Sometimes it’s okay to feel a little bittersweet.
And still say hello to the next chapter with anticipation.

🤍

Cheers to a new year and a new chapter!
